Arlene J. Leskowicz

Arlene J. Leskowicz 89, of Carolina Shore, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Arlene was a graduate of Bellport High school. She was involved in band, choir, cheerleading and several sports. She met Jay, the love of her life while working at the bank in Bellport. They were married in Sept 1960 and left at separate times, for an extended honeymoon in Italy, courtesy of the US Army. 

Upon returning to the states they settled in Northport, NY. She raised her children and volunteered her time at the Centerport United Methodist Church. Arlene returned to banking in the early 80's and retired in 2001. She and her husband moved to North Carolina and began their retirement. Together they golfed, boated, hiked, skied, camped, sang, and volunteered. Arlene was an active member in the Trinity United Methodist Church singing in the choir as well as volunteering. She made many good friends there. She also sang in a chorale society with her husband. Arlene had many adventures traveling with her husband. She was a wonderful mother as well as grandmother and great grandmother. She taught us many valuable life lessons and what true love and commitment looked like.

Arlene is survived by her brother Lee, son Bryan (Anna), daughter Diana, her grandchildren; Anthony, Timothy (Kristine), Andrew Joseph (Samantha) Michaela (Jay) Malaici (Muriel) , Lillian Arlene, Matthew, and Jonathan, as well as her great grandchildren, Annabella, James, Brinley, Collins Rose, Andrew Joseph Jr., and Jay Thomas.
