Antoinette Di Maria

Antoinette Di Maria, 98, of Oakdale, beloved wife of the late Anthony Di Maria Sr., passed away on August 27, 2015. She was born on May 20, 1917 to the late Anello and Philomena Lannucci in Brooklyn, NY. She is survived by her sons Frank Di Maria (Mary) of Trumbull CT, Neil Di Maria (Frances) of Staten Island NY, grandchildren ToniAnn Russo (Nicky), Anthony G. Di Maria, and Frank P. Di Maria, Jr., great grandchildren Nicholas Russo and Julianna Russo, sisters Louise Schreiber and Carol Montello, sisters-in-law Rosemarie Falco, Lucille Falco and Dottie Lannucci, niece Connie Prospect (Rob) and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brothers Michael Lannucci, James Falco and Frank Falco and sisters Rose Puchal and Margaret De Sena.

Antoinette will always be remembered as a kind, loving person, devoted to family and with a wonderful sense of dry spontaneous humor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 11:15 AM at St. John Nepomucene Roman Catholic Church, 1140 Locust Avenue, Bohemia, NY. Interment will take place at Canarsie Cemetery, 1370 Remsen Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. Friends are invited to the viewing Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 2-6 PM Moloney’s Bohemia Funeral Home, 1320 Lakeland Avenue, Bohemia, NY. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made in Antoinette’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
