The wind continues to…

My Aunt Peggy once asked My Mom how she wanted things to go at her funeral, she said I want to see a lot flowers and a lot of crying, so don’t disappoint everyone.

My Mom was a people person, her friends and family gave her the energy that sustained her. Even towards the end it wasn’t food, but friends that perked her up and brought her back to life.

When I first opened my eyes out of the womb, what do I see, a firey red headed woman looking up at me. I watched as she scurried across the room, like a tornado she engulfed everything in her path.

That was the start of a whirlwind of a journey that continued to the end, and I wouldn’t change a minute of it despite all the ups and downs.

My Mother was an unyielding selfless supporter of me and everyone else that came into her orbit.

What else can one ask of another human being.

The flowers continue to blossom, and the leaves continue to fall. People laugh, people cry, you’re gone and I don’t know why.

I felt the cold, and I felt the snow, I been through life’s challenges, but you being gone just seems like to much of a blow.

Where do I go when the rain comes, and you bring sunshine. Where do I go when everything seems black and you see the light.

Mom you will be forever missed, from the morning to the night, a gaping hole in my heart will always exist.

I’ll go on with your wisdom and love in my soul hoping that it will fill that empty space.

Love you always Mom, there will be one less beautiful human being amongst the human race.

Rest in peace Mom, thanks for all the love.

I’ll see you again in another place.
