Anna F. Killarney

Anna Killarney (nee) Loscalzo, age 98, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025 at Hospice House in Stuart, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie and son-in-law Joseph Poerio, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Francesco and Maria Loscalzo, husband, Michael Killarney, sisters, Rose, Mary, Josephine, Teresina and brothers Rocco, Matthew, Michael and Vincent. She was born in NYC on October 21, 1926, where she was raised along with her siblings. She grew up in the depression era and shared many stories of those days. She moved to Stuart in 1995 to be closer to her daughter and son-in-law. She was kind, genuine and loving to all who knew her. She was religious and attended Catholic Mass every Saturday. She traveled to many countries and ports, and every January went to Aruba to vacation with family. She loved to dance, play cards on Tuesday nights and on Wednesday nights she played Texas Hold’em with her son-in-law in her club house. She loved to socialize with neighbors at Friday Night Socials. She was blessed with living a full and healthy life right up until the end. May she rest in eternal peace.
