Ann Riccio-Pettinato

Ann Pettinato (nee Vero) entered eternal rest on February 20th, 2025 in New Brunswick, NJ at 98 years of age. Ann was born July 26th, 1926 to parents Giacchino and Mariette Vero in New Brunswick NJ, but spent the majority of her life living on Long Island, NY, with many years and fond memories from her time living in New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Florida. Ann worked for over 25 years as a mental health nurse for the State of New York. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning, was a devout Catholic and utterly devoted to her large and loving family.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and six brothers, one brother-in-law and five sisters-in-law, her first husband and love, Rudolph Riccio, and her second husband and love, Frank Pettinato. She is survived by her loving children, Albert Riccio and his wife Dorinda of New Jersey, and Raymond Riccio and his wife Deborah of Florida. Ann is also survived by her four grandchildren and their spouses, eight great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Josephine Vero, and countless nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Ann lived and loved fiercely and she will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Visitation services will be at Moloney's Lake Funeral Home in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Burial services will commence from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lake Ronkonkoma at 10 AM on Saturday February 29th, with interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY following.
