Ann M. O'Rourke

Ann M. O’Rourke,62, passed away at Good Shepherd Hospice on January 7,2022. She fought an 18 year battle with cancer like a warrior.

Annie was born in 1959 to John and Ann Mcdonald, and lived in Richmond Hill until 1976 when she moved to Long Island and settled in Holtsville in 2013. Annie spent most of her career as an administrator to the manager at FedEx as well as a homemaker. Annie founded Island Gamers Club in Bohemia in 2011, which was her passion until her passing.

Annie loved spending time doing crossword puzzles, spending time by the water and watching movies with her family. She loved holidays and spending time with her husband and grown children.

Annie is survived by her husband of 33 years, Danny O’Rourke of Holtsville , her daughter Sadie Colucci of Holtsville, son Anthony Colucci of Holtsville, and son Daniel O’Rourke of Holtsville. She is also survived by her siblings, Elizabeth O’Sullivan of East Islip, Mary McDonald of Northport, John McDonald of Seattle, Washington, Paul McDonald of Bayshore and William McDonald of Forest Hills as well her daughter-in-law Carissa Kohler of Holtsville, brother-in-law Brian O’Sullivan of East Islip, brother-in-law Anthony Falleo of Northport sister-in-law Tania McDonald of Forest Hills goddaughter Julie Gisonda of West Islip as well as many nieces and nephews.

Annie always wanted people to be happy and smile. She believed in helping others in need and spent her life changing lives.
