It is with great sadness that we announce that our beloved Judy Pappaceno suddenly passed away on Saturday October 26 at the age of 82. Judy was born on February 2nd, 1942, in Manhattan NY to Anthony and Angelina Monaco.
Judy met and fell in love with her lifetime partner Gaitan and they were married on November 12 1960 in Brooklyn NY. Together Judy and Guy (Gaitan) raised their two beautiful daughters Denise and Christine starting in Oceanside NY and eventually Sayville NY. Judy worked for the IRS for several years, but her focus was always her immediate family and friends whom she loved dearly. Judy loved to cook (Italian of course) and share a song or two with whomever she was with or entertaining. Her sense of humor always kept us laughing as she would like to have as much fun as she could on any occasion. Her laugh was infectious! Judy was extremely proud of her daughters and grandchildren who were the shining light in her eyes.
Judy was preceded in death by her beloved Gaitan, her parents Anthony & Angelina and her brother Lawerence.
She is survived by her daughters Denise Pappaceno and Christine Pappaceno, her son-in-law Brian Sullivan, her grandchildren Matthew Sullivan and Shane Sullivan, Christopher Suarez and fiancé Dr. Alesia Field, Amanda Sullivan and fiancé David Hogan.
Our Judy was the matriarch of our family who always embraced family, friends and neighbors with her beautiful smile and gracious heart.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on Friday November 1st from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Moloney-Sinnicksons Funeral Home Moriches NY. The church service will be Saturday November 2nd 11am at Sts. Peter & Paul R.C. Church Manorville NY. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Gaitan at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale NY.
