Andrew Zeneski, known to all as Henry, passed away at his home on May 9, 2017. He was born December 1, 1928 in Center Moriches, NY. to Martin and Rose Zeneski. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Albert (Binky), Stanley, John, Martin, sister Mary Holzman, grandson Luke Zeneski, and the mother of his children, Belle Billingsley. He is survived by his daughters, Glenna Hitze and Bobbi Gomez of Vero Beach, Florida; sons, Shawn Zeneski and wife, Kim of Mustang, Oklahoma; and Gary Herman of California; five grandchildren: Jason, Andy, Dylan, and Meghann Gomez, and Jake Zeneski; one great-grandchild Jared Gomez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Henry was a retired grocer. After retirement he loved to travel around the country visiting friends and family… until he didn’t. It is what it is. He was a stranger to no one and had a perpetual smile. He enjoyed karaoke, dancing, laughing and was quite the joker. He was always happy to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He made the best beach plum jelly on Long Island and his lasagna was famous among all who had it. He was a collector of ball caps, clocks, calendars, and pictures of his children and grandchildren who he loved so very much. He leaves us all with many fond memories and we will miss him.
