Youngman, Alan “Tommy” of East Quogue, NY on October 7th, 2019 in his 71th year. Proud United States Navy Veteran, served two tours in Vietnam earning 2 Bronze stars. Alan was entrusted with Top Secret Government clearance, which aloud him to take part in the surveillance of the USS Pueblo and assist in the capsule recovery program for the Apollo space program in 1968. In 1970 Alan Graduated Locksmithing school, then went on to study for three years at the operation engineers school in Yaphank, NY. Alan worked as an oiler on cranes, before becoming a full engineer. In the late 1980’s he joined the N.Y.S. Archaeology Society, and found many artifacts. In fact Alan found one particular artifact that was one of a kind according to Stony Brook University. He also built his own dark room where he taught himself photography, and entered a few contests and even won a couple of first prize’s. In 1994 after a tragic deadly car accident, Alan studied law at the Riverhead County Center for 3 yrs in order win his case. Alan was a enthusiast of fine cars and art, and even entered his beloved BMW into the Concourse D’Elegance car show taking first place. Alan was a world traveler and loved to sail, he will be missed by family and friends.
