**Adrian D. Weger Gilmore** **August 18, 1982 – April 23, 2025** Adrian Weger Gilmore, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, leadership and inspiration that will live on in the countless lives she touched and will continue to touch with the donation of her organs to those that were in need of life saving surgeries. Born on August 18, 1982, to Cathleen and Gary Weger, Adrian grew up in Moriches, New York, where her boundless spirit first took root. She attended the William Floyd School District and went on to graduate from Concordia College in 2004 where she proudly played collegiate soccer. It was there that she discovered not just her passion for the game, but her lifelong love, Timothy Gilmore. Adrian and Timothy married on August 15, 2009, building a beautiful life together, grounded in friendship, laughter and unconditional love. They were blessed with three wonderful children: Kayla, Cameron, and Colby, who were her greatest gifts and creations. For the past 20 years, Adrian dedicated her life to teaching at the Shoreham-Wading River School District. As a beloved educator and Varsity Soccer Coach, she poured her heart into every lesson, every practice, and every moment shared with her students and players. Under her leadership, her teams flourished, winning multiple Suffolk County and Long Island Championships as well as a one New York State Championship. Her exceptional coaching earned her numerous "Coach of the Year" honors, and in 2019, Adrian was named the United Soccer Coaches Regional High School Coach of the Year for the East Region. A testament not just to her success, but to the passion and dedication she brought to every field she stepped onto. Yet, it was never just about the accolades for Adrian. More than her impressive achievements, she will be remembered as a mentor to fellow coaches, a guiding light to teachers, and a fierce advocate for children. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering belief in others lifted everyone around her. Adrian was the light in every room—a selfless soul who always put others before herself, whose smile could ease the heaviest burdens and whose heart was big enough to hold a whole community. Her legacy is woven into the fabric of every life she touched, whether in the classroom, on the soccer field, or in the community she loved so dearly. To know Adrian was to love her; to be loved by Adrian was to be profoundly blessed. She is survived by her beloved husband Timothy, their three children Kayla, Cameron, and Colby, her parents Cathleen and Gary Weger, her brothers Matthew, Christopher, and Joshua, and all those who were fortunate enough to call her family, friend, teacher, coach and mentor. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Adrian’s life will be held on April 30th, from 3:00-7:00PM at Moloney- Sinnicksons Moriches Funeral Home. Though Adrian’s time with us feels far too short, the love she gave and the light she brought into this world will continue to shine brightly in all who were touched by her extraordinary life. She will be deeply, profoundly missed.
